Mounting onto wooden decking or similar
1. Use the 3 mounting holes in the spike coupling and screw it directly onto
the decking using appropriate screws/plugs.
2. Slide the lamp assembly over the mounted spike coupling.
Operating instructions
• Set the switch to
OFF
and let the batteries charge for two days before using
the light for the first time.
• Set in the
AUTO
position the light’s twilight switch will turn on
one
LED for
decorative purposes from dusk to dawn.
• Set in the
AUTO
position, if the PIR detector is motion activated during the period
from dusk to sunrise (e.g. during the time when the decorative LED is on), all
LEDs will then come on.
• Set the [ AUTO/OFF ] switch to
OFF
if you don’t want the light to come on at all.
• Set the [ AUTO/OFF ] switch to
AUTO
if you want the light to function as
described above.
• Set the [ AUTO/OFF ] switch to the desired setting and mount the LED lamp unit
onto the diffuser.
Care and maintenance
• Clean the product using a lightly moistened cloth. Only use mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Turn the switch
OFF
and remove the batteries is if the light is not to be used
for a longer time period.
Changing the batteries
1. Remove the battery compartment on the underside of
the LED lamp unit.
2. Insert 3 × AA/HR6 rechargeable NiMH batteries.
Note:
Note the + and - polarity markings at the bottom of
the battery compartment to ensure correct insertion.
