With the SNMP agent installed you can control the device by SNMP commands either through your dedicated application
or by using one of the publicly available applications like NetSNMP (
http://www.net-snmp.org/ ).
The following examples presumes that NetSNMP is installed in the local machine:

The backlight setting interval is 0-100% where 100% is max brightness.
