Press firmly to make sure that the converter module is fully
seated.

Fasten the converter module screws to the switch using a
screwdriver.
Refer to “Connecting the cable” on page 13 and “Connecting the
power supply cord” on page 15 to continue.
Replacing the converter module

Make certain you are properly grounded electrically.
See
“Safety and environmental guidelines” on page 9 .

Disconnect the DC cable on the converter module by
unscrewing the thumbscrews and gently pulling the cord
out.

Unfasten the captive screws holding the converter module
to the OPTera Metro 1200 Ethernet Service Module, using a
screwdriver.
