When the feature softkey to be removed is displayed, press 

Clear

KEY MAPPING 

The 

i

2022 supports a local feature called Key Mapping. The purpose of the Key Mapping feature is to allow features that 

have Feature Activators higher than Key 32 to appear on a hardkey. 
 
For example, the North American ISDN Users Forum (NIUF) recommends using Key 57 as a Call Forward key. Key 57 
defaults as a softkey on the 

i

2022 Teleset. Key Mapping will allow Feature Key 57 to be “mapped” to a hardkey on the 

i

2022. This may be useful, since the Teleset would now light the hardkey’s adjacent LED when Call Forward Feature Key 

is active. 

 

To remap a hardkey press
