at one of the phones and at the NT1.

The

2022 is available with an optional U Interface Module. Actually, the U Interface Module is an NT1 device, therefore,
the Teleset does not require an external NT1 device. Fig. 9 shows the
i
2022 equipped with a U Interface Module. The U
Interface is connected to the power adapter. The U Interface and power connection cable is connected to the “Line-In”
jack located on the U Interface Module in the rear of the Teleset.

TERMINATING RESISTORS
The
i
2022Teleset U Interface module has built-in Terminating Resistors. The Terminating Resistor switches are located
on the top of the Interface Module.
When the switches are in the
On
position, the
Terminating Resistors are installed. The value of
the resistors is 100 Ohms.
