Choosing Layout Elements to display
By default, the only elements from the underlying Layout that are displayed in the view are the locales. Toggle the
checkbox to show/hide the underlying Layout's Locales, RF Fingerprints, and Sensors.
Choosing Devices to display
By default, all powered devices within range of the wireless network are displayed in the view.
To display a subset of the powered devices:

Only Display Selected Devices

Add
to display the Add dialog.

Choose one of the following criteria in the Add dialog:
•
Bands: 802.11A or 802.11B/G
•
Channels: Specific 802.11 channels.
•
Devices: Individual devices listed by label or MAC address.
•
Device Types: Client, Ad Hoc, or Access Point.
•
Groups: Just the devices in the specified group.
•
Networks: Just the devices on the specified networks.

Choose either to display the device on the basis of the device
is or is not
part of the selected criteria.

Choose one or more values for the selected criteria.
Use the Any radio button to show devices that meet any of the rules, and the All radio button to display only devices
meeting all of the rules.
Showing association lines
By default, a line connects each device icon with the Access Point with which it is associated. De-select the checkbox to
remove these lines from the view.
Highlighting devices
Use the Highlight feature to emphasize a subset of devices, but still showing the broader set of devices on the dashboard.
You can emphasize selected devices based on the same criteria used to choose devices to display.
By Default, highlighting categories are not created. To highlight the devices in a specific network, follow the given
steps:
