Nortel WLAN - Location Engine 2340 Configuration - Using Interfaces

Nortel WLAN Location Engine 

2340 Dashboard

The Nortel WLE2340 Dashboard relies on a Nortel WLE2340 to supply the device, locale, and network information. It is 
used in the Dashboard's live depictions of network coverage and device location. Once you install the Nortel WLE2340 
for the first time, you need to establish a connection to the Nortel WLE2340. At each subsequent startup of the Nortel 
WLE2340 Dashboard, the connections are re-established automatically.

Hardware requirements

For Windows, the recommended standard configuration for each machine are as follows:

Pentium III 1.0 GHz

•

512 MB RAM

•

200 MB free disk space

Software requirements

Following are the Certified Operating Systems: 

•

XP Service Pack 2

•

Microsoft Windows 2000

Connecting through HTTPS

You can establish a connection from the Nortel WLE2340 Dashboard to a Nortel WLAN Location Engine through 
HTTPS. To connect, follow the below steps:
