Troubleshooting

This section contains troubleshooting procedures. These procedures
cover only the most common problems that you may encounter. If you
cannot solve the problem with the information given here, contact your
local Nordson representative for help.
Problem Possible Cause Corrective Action
No Powder is transferred Check powder is present in the
keg/drum
Replace keg/drum
Air supply not present Check main air supply
Check level control system is turned
on, refer to Level Controller or
system manual
Blockage in pump or syphon tube Turn unit off, strip and clean
Transfer Pump venturi is worn Refer to Transfer Pump manual
Powder is transferring erratically Transfer Pump venturi is worn Refer to Transfer Pump manual
Vibrator is inoperative Check power supply
Contact your local Nordson
subsidiary
Air pressure is too low Check air line pressure
Increase regulator pressure
