9.6 Sleep timer
With the help of the sleep timer, it is possible to automatically switch the radio to standby mode
after the set time.
>
Press the
SLEEP
button repeatedly to activate the sleep timer. Press the
ENTER button
to start the timer.
For example, if no playback and no interaction with the device occurs in CD mode for at
least 15 minutes, the radio always switches to standby mode.
9.7 Alarm
The radio is equipped with an alarm clock. To configure the alarm clock, follow these steps.
Use the up/down arrow keys to change values. Confirm each entry with the TIMER
button.
> Hold down the TIMER button. [Turn on] appears and the hours flash.
> Use the up/down arrow keys to select the hours at which the alarm clock should start.
Then press the TIMER button to set the minutes.
> Select the minutes using the up/down arrow keys and then press the TIMER button
to accept. You will now be taken to the switch-off time, which you enter as described
above.
> After you set the switch-off time, you can specify the source with which you want to be
woken up (DAB, FM, USB or CD). Select a source with the
up/down arrow keys
and save
the setting by pressing the TIMER button.
> Now you can adjust the volume you want to wake up with. Select the volume with the
up/down arrow keys and press the TIMER button to accept.
> If you have selected DAB or FM as the source, you can finish by selecting the station you
want to wake up with. Press the TIMER button again to save the alarm. The display now
shows a clock symbol.
All information must be entered within 10 seconds. Otherwise, the alarm clock
configuration must be restarted.
You can turn a stored alarm on or off by briefly pressing the TIMER button.
