9.1.2 bRoKEN GlAss REplACEMENT
kindly follow the following steps in order to securely replace a damaged glass:
- remove the automatic closing spring, if present, located in the door bottom area
- remove the door from the product, removing the special pins or the hinges fixed with the locking screws, preferably starting from
the upper fixing.
- place the door on a solid base and remove the fixing screws of the plates or glazing beads, located inside the door
- remove the damaged glass and clean the door.
- check that the sealing gaskets on the door or on the glazing beads are not damaged and replace them, if necessary.
- Mount the new glass on the door, taking care to tighten the screws of the glass beads carefully, since if tightened too much they can
break the glass.
wARNING
BREAK OF GLASSES:
CERAMIC-BASED GLASSES CAN RESIST UP TO A HEAT SHOCK OF 750°C, THEREFORE THEY ARE NOT AFFECTED BY
THERMAL SHOCK ISSUES. THEIR BREAK CAN BE CAUSED BY MECHANIC SHOCKS, SUCH AS STRIKING OR SLAMMING
SHUT OF THE DOOR.
THEREFORE, THEIR REPLACEMENT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE WARRANTY.
DO NOT OPERATE THIS UNIT WITH BROKEN GLASSES
BROKEN OR DAMAGED GLASS COMPONENTS SHALL BE REMOVED AND REINSTALLED TAKING CARE ABOUT USING
PROPER GASKETS, CUSHIONING DEVICES AND OTHER ACCESSORIES, MAINTAINING EDGE CLEARANCES
REPLACE GLASS ONLY WITH GLASS SUPPLIED FROM THE MANUFACTURER OR DISTRIBUTOR OF THIS APPLIANCE
