Current measurements

The current drawn from the nRF51822 device can be monitored using the Current Shunt Monitor (CSM),
INA216 (U2). The gain of the CSM is set to 200 V/V for lowest possible drop voltage.

For current measurements using the CSM, the jumper on connector

K1

must be placed on Pin 2 and Pin 3.

This is the default position of the jumpers when shipped. Current on the nRF51822 module is measured on
connector

K2

as voltage proportional to the current.

For current measurements using the jumper

P7

on the Motherboard, the jumper on connector

K1

must be

placed on Pin 1 and Pin 2.
