2.2 • INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSITIONING
• Unpack the appliance and check its conditions.
• Before installing the appliance, remove the two screws on the
rear side (pic. 1).
• Place the unit in its position of use and make sure it has enough
distance (at least 10cm) from walls, coverings or other inflam-
mable material.
NOTE -
Considering the weight of the appliance, move it very care-
fully. At least 2 people must be there to position the appliance or use
appropriate lifting system.
• If the walls next to the appliance are of inflammable material,
they should be suitably clad.
• Place the Salamandra under a suction hood to guarantee smoke
suction when cooking.
• Important
: do not place the Salamandra on a hot surface or releasing steam.
• If necessary, adjust the feet of the Salamandra to place it perfectly at the same level.
• Remove the protective film or remaining glue
DO NOT BLOCK COOLING INTAKES
• If the unit is placed on a table, keep at least 100 mm between the
rear side of the Salamandra and the wall (pic.2)
• If the unit is hanged on a wall, use its fixing brackets and its speci-
fic screws, suitable for its weight
• The wall has to be heat-resistant (up to 80°C) and it must be of
non-flammable material
• Fire prevention regulations must be scrupulously observed.
• The electric wiring must never be under strain. Do not obstruct the
suction inlets or heat dispersion outlets; scrupulously follow the
installation diagrams.
