5-POINT HARNESS
REMOVAL AND ACCESSORY STORAGE
1.
To remove shoulder pads and straps, first loosen the 5-point harness of the enhanced child restraint system as much as possible.
Then, remove the straps from the metal links. Store the straps on the back of the backrest.
2.
Take the gears fixed axle from the plastic stator
and store it on the back of the backrest.
3.
Finally, insert redundant belt into cloth cover.
4.
To store a buckle,
press the straps release
button to release the buckle tongues.
5.
Pull down the buckle cover.
6.
Lift the cover in the PE board and hide the
buckle.
SIPS USAGE
(SIPS= Side Impact Protection System)
SIPS should be deployed whenever the enhanced child restraint system is installed in the vehicle. SIPS
can effectively improve the safety performance of the enhanced child restraint system.
1.
To deploy, pull out the SIPS pod from the corner stored position until it locks into position.
You will
hear an audible CLICK!
2.
To store, press the button and push SIPS pod into store position.
SEAT COVER REMOVAL
1.
Set headrest in the highest position.
2.
Remove the 5-point harness.
3.
Remove the cover from the backrest and base.
4.
First, remove the cover from the base of the headrest, then remove the cover from the headrest.
To reattach the cover, reverse the above steps.
CAUTION:
Do not use enhanced child restraint system without the cover.
CAUTION:
Check that the harness straps are not twisted and that they are correctly inserted into the slots of the cover’s straps.
