Alarm Summary
If patient SpO
2
or pulse readings are equal to or above the upper alarm limit, or if
they are equal to or below the lower alarm limit, the display unit will signal an alarm.
Silencing Alarms
Momentary (2-Minute) Alarm Silence
To silence alarms for two minutes, press the Alarm Silence button.
Continuous Alarm Silence
In order to permanently silence all alarms, DIP switch 2 must be placed in the UP
position. This allows the alarm volume to be set to zero.
The Alarm Silence LED will
remain illuminated when the alarm volume is set to zero.
