Connecting PMC Network Interface Cards

Nokia IP300 Series Security Platform Installation Guide

Caution

Cables that connect to the Ethernet card must be IEEE 802.3
compliant to prevent potential data loss.

You can order appropriate adapter cables separately. You can order additional
cables from a cable vendor of your choice.

Figure 13

shows the pin assignments for the cable. The RJ-45 cable output

connector is numbered from right to left, with the copper tabs facing up and
toward you.
