Nokia IP2255 Security Platform Installation Guide

Note

For IP2255 appliances, Nokia recommends the use of shielded twisted-
pair cables and connectors for best Electromagnetic Interference and
Immunity performance.

Figure 13

shows the pin assignments for the straight-through cable with an

RJ-45 connector. The RJ-45 cable output connector is numbered from right to
left, with the copper tabs facing up and toward you.
