Before You Begin

Check Point IP2450 Security Platform Installation Guide

Mount the appliance into a standard 19-inch rack by using four standard rack mounting
screws.

Optionally, you can install the rear mounting brackets included with your appliance as
shown in the following figure.

Slide the chassis tray assembly back into the appliance until it clicks into place, and resecure
the four chassis tray assembly retaining screws.

Reinstall the fan unit into the rear of the appliance.

Reinstall the power supplies.
