2. KEYS AND DISPLAY INDICATORS

KEYS

To use the phone, keys are pressed one at a time. Two keys
are never to be pressed simultaneously. More detailed infor-

mation on each key is given later in
this guide.

Switches the phone on and off.
Press to switch on.
Press and hold to switch off.

ABC

Switches between alpha
mode and numeric mode.

MENU

Selects the menu mode.

Shortcuts to individual menu
features.
Used with

matic DTMF transmission.
Used to switch to
handsfree mode.

Press once to clear the last
digit entered. Press and hold
to clear the display.
Exits the menu without chang-

Deletes a message.
