If you store telephone numbers with the interna
prefix (created by pressing
✳
twice) and the appropriate coun-
try code, you can use the same phone number in all GSM
countries.
Replacing Information
When you are storing a name and a telephone number and
the phone asks for the memory location number, key in the lo-
cation number where the information that you want to re-
place is located. Then press
M
. The message
CHANGE
CONTENT?
will appear. Press
M
to confirm.
Moving Information
If you want to move a number and a name from one memory
location to another, recall the name and the number from the
memory and press
M.
The text
MOVE TO
and the first empty memory location
number are shown on the display. Press
M
to confirm or key
in the desired memory location number (or use
or
to
find the desired location) and then press
M.
The content of
the former location is erased and the information is stored in
the new memory location.
WAKE-UP MESSAGE
A wake-up message (number or name) may be displayed
briefly when the phone is switched on and/or the PIN code is
keyed in. The message is stored in the special memory loca-
tion 999 in the phone’s memory (memory B).
To recall the wake-up message, press 999 (memory B must
be selected using Menu 2 5) and then
R
. A number is shown,
if available. Press
ABC
and the name associated with the
number is shown.
