2 Setting Up and Programming
the Orion 700 Controller
The following sequence is recommended:
1. Set Time and Date for the Orion 700 controller
2. Create your ZONE(s)
3. Add RECEIVER(s) to your ZONE(s)
4. Create PROFILE(s) for all your ZONE(s)
Useful Tips
• Give names to your ZONE(s) that are easy to remember.
Preferably names describing the ZONE well.
• All NOBO recievers have a unique 12 digit code. This should be
entered into the back of this manual together with corresponding
zone information. Pages 30 and 31 have been designed for you
to use in this manner.
If your Orion 700 has already been programmed and you wish to
change the names of the zones or change settings or locate and
identify certain receivers please refer to the section entitled
‘Re-programming your Orion 700’ on page 17
