Remove vacuum bag to access secondary
filter. Hinge wire frame bag support outwards.

Remove filter from vacuum motor and tap or
blow off dust build–up. DO NOT clean with
water or solvent.
c. When replacing filter be certain it snaps
securely on motor.
2. Replace filter if worn or not cleanable.
BRUSH AND BELT:
1. Inspect regularly for entangled carpet strands and
debris.
2. Inspect brush bristles for wear periodically. If worn,
adjust brush to extend its life as followed:
a.
Remove metal brush shoe from brush
housing. Philips screwdriver is required.
b.
Remove brush assembly. Grip brush on
opposite side of belt and pull outwards.
c.
Inspect drive belt for wear, replace if
necessary.
d.
Rotate both bearing blocks 180
_
and reinstall
brush (Figure 9).
NOTE: Bearing block holes are off–centered and
labeled with numbers 1 and 2 at ends. This will help
guide you when rotating blocks. Bearing block ends
with number 2 should face outwards when reinstalling
brush.

Replace metal brush shoe.
OTHER:
1.
Inspect vacuum hose regularly for holes, loose
cuffs or clogged debris.
2.
Inspect rear door gasket regularly for leakage.
Replace if worn.
3.
Clean vacuum housing with damp cloth and mild
soap.
VACUUM MOTOR:
Check Vacuum Motor carbon brush wear every 250
hours of use. Replace carbon brush when worn to
3/8” (1cm) or less in length. Vacuum motor damage
due to carbon brush wear is not covered under
warranty.
