4. Sudden stop of diesel
engine
a) The fuel tank has run out.
Add fuel oil.
b) There's water and air in the
fuel.
Exhaust the system of water and
air.
c) Fuel system blockage.
Clean fuel system to ensure
smooth oil supply.
d) Fuel line break.
Repair broken fuel lines.
e) The governor spring breaks
and the rack automatically
returns to the stop position.
Replace the governor spring.
f) Transmission of fuel pump is
damaged.
Replace damaged parts of
injection pump.
5. The temperature of
engine oil is too high
a) Diesel internal circulation
pump fault.
Repair the circulating water
pump.
b) There is gas in the
circulating channel of diesel
internal cooling water.
Let off the gas in the circulating
channel.
c) Diesel internal cooling
water circulation channel
fouling.
Clean circulation channel to
ensure unobstructed.
d) The external circulating
cooling water flow rate of
diesel engine is too low.
Increase the flow of external
circulating cooling water.
e) The diesel engine external
circulation cooling water
supply and drainage pipeline
is not free.
Ensure the external circulation
cooling water to drain pipe
unobstructed.
f) Heat exchanger fouling.
Clean the heat exchanger to
ensure smooth flow.
g) Insufficient heat dissipation
area of heat exchanger.
Replace the heat exchanger with
a larger heat dissipation area.
6. The pressure of
engine oil is too low
a) Insufficient engine oil.
Add engine oil.
b) Oil filter fouling.
Replace the oil filter.
c) The oil pump fails to supply
enough oil, have to adjust the
pressure.
Replace or change oil pump.
