1. Difficulty starting
diesel engine
w) The water is too cold to
freeze in the pump.
Add pre-heater to raise the
temperature of diesel engine.
x) Engine oil is too low in
temperature and too viscous.
Replace with a matching engine
oil.
y) Too much startup load.
Decrease the startup load.
z) Diesel oil filter three-way
valve is not open or diesel
oil filter is too dirty.
Replace the diesel filter valve or
clean the diesel filter.
2. Diesel engine lack of
power
a) Fuel supply is insufficient.
Check the fuel supply system.
b) Poor atomization or
mismatch with combustion
chamber.
Clean or replace injector and
inspect cylinder parts.
c) Insufficient intake.
Clean air filter and intercooler.
Repair leaky inlet and exhaust
pipe connections.
d) Air vent clog.
Check if the exhaust pipe is too
thin, too long, or too curved.
Clean exhaust muffler, cylinder
head exhaust duct.
e) External reasons.
If the temperature of the
intercooler is too high, the fault
of the cooling system should be
found and eliminated to make it
meet the requirements
When the ambient temperature
is too high and the air pressure
is too low, the supercharger with
high voltage ratio and high
efficiency intercooler shall be
modified or replaced for power
recovery under this condition.
3. The diesel engine
runs unsteadily
a) There is air, water, gas or
water resistance in the fuel
system, resulting in unstable
oil supply.
Exhaust the air and water from
the system, clean the diesel oil
filter to ensure smooth and
adequate oil supply.
b) The injector atomization is
not good, spray oil is not
stable and intermittent spray
oil.
Inspect and repair injector to
atomize well.
