Inputs

The Input page is split into four areas
o
Main Mix
o
Mic/Line
o
AES3
o
Test Signal

Main Mix
o
A stereo meter displaying the main mix level
•
Mic/Line
o
A stereo meter displaying the selected inputs level (post the trim)
o
A button that toggles between Mic and Line Inputs. The name of the
currently selected input will be displayed in the button
o
The Line Input and Mic Inputs can be adjusted b40dB and -12dB in
1dB steps via the volume bar
o
The maximum input level for either the Mic Input or the Line Input is +8.5dBu
o
A Mic bias of 2.6V is available at the microphone input
•
AES3
o
A stereo meter displaying the AES3 level (post the trim)
o
The AES input can be adjusted from +20dB to -20dB in 1dB steps via the
volume bar
o
There is also an indicator that will turn green when the input locks and the
sample frequency will also be displayed
o
A red indicator means that there is no lock to the incoming signal
o
The AES input features a sample rate convertor adjusting the sample rate to
the currently selected Dante rate internally
o
The AES Input is accessed via an optional breakout cable which plugs into the
15way D-Sub socket

Test Signal
o
A stereo meter displaying the test signal level (post trim)
o
The PD Dante also features an internal signal generator
o
There is a choice of the following signal generators
