Before you change or adjust the tool or parts,
always disconnect the air supply hose.
●
Never touch the moving parts in operation.
4-1. Start and Stop
(Fig. 2)
(1) Make sure the Throttle Lever is in the OFF position
and connect air supply hose to the Cupla plug on
the tool.
(2) Only when the Throttle Lever is in the OFF position,
you should select the belt rotating direction by
turning the Valve Ring. The arrow on the housing
and that on the Valve Ring have color coordination
for your easy perception. Turn the Valve Ring to
the end until stop.
※
Do not turn on the Throttle Lever when the Valve
Ring is in the end stop position. Never turn the
Valve Ring while the Throttle Lever is in ON
position. Such may cause fault.
(3) To start, release the Lock Lever and press the
Throttle Lever down.
(4) To stop, remove your finger off the Throttle Lever, it
will automatically turn to original OFF position.

4-2. Adjusting the Rotation Speed
(Fig. 3)
The appropriate air volume or, as the result, the
desired speed is obtained by turning the Adjust Valve
clockwise or counterclockwise with screwdriver in the
slot. You will get the maximum rotation speed when
the Adjust Valve slot align to the tool body length.
Adjust the speed suitable to your applications.

4-3. Changing the Abrasive Belt
(Fig. 4 and 5)
Loosen the Cover Screw fixing the Cover and remove
the Cover.
Push the Idle Pulley against the Housing to lock the
Tension Bar.
Change the Abrasive Belt with a new one and press
the Push Button. The Tension Bar is unlocked. (Fig. 4)
Remount the Cover correctly and tighten the Cover
Screw firmly. (Fig. 5)
Caution
Do not press the Push Button many times without
the Abrasive Belt on the tool. If done, the locking
mechanism may be damaged.

4-4. Adjusting the Tracking
(Fig. 6)
Loosen the Hex. Socket Set Screw by the Hex.
Socket Screw Key 1.5 as shown in Fig. 7 and turn the
adjusting screw with a Pan Head screwdriver so that
the Abrasive Belt may run almost in the center of the
Idle Pulley, then turn the Hex. Socket Set Screw by the
Hex. Socket Screw Key to lock the adjusting screw.
