Disconnecting'Solar'Array'from'Charge'Controller'

cause'damage,'death,'or'injury.'

On!the!system!controller!turn!off!the!solar!panels!to!stop!the!flow!of!electricity!from!the!solar!panel!
prior!to!disconnecting!any!cables.!When!using!the!GREENS!controller,!turn!off!circuit!breakers!J3,!J4,!
J5,!and!J6.!If!this!is!not!possible,!carefully!disconnect!the!collector!cable!from!the!charge!controller.!
Disconnecting'Connectors''

The!same!connectors!are!used!to!connect!the!collector!cable!to!the!solar!array!as!well!as!to!
interconnect!the!solar!panels!on!the!solar!array.!

To!disconnect!solar!panel!connectors!squeeze!the!tabs!on!both!sides!of!the!negative!connector!
and!gently!pull!the!two!sides!of!the!connector!apart!as!shown!in!figure!21.!!

Prior!to!disconnecting!the!solar!panels!be!certain!they!are!not!connected!to!the!charge!controller!
and!generating!power.!

Disconnect!wires!interconnecting!the!solar!panels!(total!of!4!connectors).!!

Disconnected!cables!should!remain!free!for!folding!and!detaching!the!solar!arrays!from!the!stand.!
