2.2 Hardware Setup 

2.2.1 SIM Card Installation 

The SIM card included in your kit includes a tri-cut carrier and adapter for different sizes.

 

 

 

   

   

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Skywire family of modems use the Micro-SIM (3FF size form factor), which is the

 

 

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   

 

SIM card size outlined in red in the below picture: 

 

Carefully snap out the 3FF SIM card size from the SIM card carrier, and insert it into

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   

 

your Skywire modem. The pads on the SIM card should face the pins on the SIM cage,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   

 

 

 

and the keyed corner will go in as shown below:
