SWEEPING SYSTEM

SIDE BRUSH HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

Check the side brushes correct height from the ground, proceeding as follows:
–

Drive the machine on a level ground.

–

When the machine is stopped lower the side brushes by means of the levers (18) and (19), then activate
the side brushes for few seconds.

–

Stop and lift the side brushes, then move the machine.

–

Check that the side brush print (C) is, in extension and orientation, as shown in the figure.

In case the print (A) is not within the specifications, it is necessary to adjust the brush height, proceeding as
described in step 2.
2.

Turn the ignition key (10) to OFF position and activate the parking brake (17).

Open the hood (21) and fix it with the support rod (36).

Unscrew the related knob (A) and by means of the lever (18) and/or (19) change the adjustment disk position
by one hole. Reinstall the knob (A).

Perform step 1 again to check the proper adjustment of the side brush height from ground.

When the side brushes are too worn out the adjustment is no more possible; replace the brushes according
to the instructions in the following paragraph.

Remark: Brushes with harder or softer bristles are available. This procedure is applicable to each
type of brushes.
