_5.1 Precautionary measures prior to
cleaning and maintaining the machine
Prior to maintenance and cleaning
operations, the machine must be
disconnected from the mains by
disconnecting the mains plug. Accidents
due to electrical voltage and moving parts
may be avoided in this manner.
When maintaining or servicing the
machine, when exchanging parts or
resetting to a different function it must be
ensured that the machine cannot start
accidentally. It must also be protected
from rolling off or tilting and no parts may
be in a position that may cause them to
fall down or close by themselves.
If in doubt about any safety matters
consult the manufacturer or their
authorised agency before putting the
machine into use.
