CLEANING THE EXHAUST FILTER
The exhaust filter cleans the air discharged from the vacuum motor. The filter is located just under the Upper Housing. The
filter should be cleaned every third time that the bag is changed (more often in very dusty applications).

SERVICING THE VACUUM MOTOR BRUSHES
Have your Advance Dealer check the carbon motor brushes once a year or after 500 operating hours.
IMPORTANT!
The motors will be ruined if they are run with worn-out brushes. This kind of motor failure is not covered by warranty.

Cleaning the

Step DOWN on the Pedal and lower the
handle.

Pull the filter holder DOWN to open, and
remove the filter.

Wash the foam filter in warm water. Let the
filter dry completely before putting it back into
the machine.
