Remedy
• Shoot again after
confirming focus
distance, aperture or
flash shooting distance
range.
• Release shutter again.
If the warning
indication remains, or
this warning appears
frequently, contact
authorized Nikon dealer
or service center.
• Turn the power switch
off once and on again.
Warning indication
disappears and
additional data will not
be recorded until the
data in the memory is
erased.
• Use a Speedlight
equipped with Red-Eye
Reduction function.
• Turn the power switch
off, replace batteries
with new ones and
rewind the film again.
In certain cases, due to static electricity or poorly loaded batteries, the F100’s
microcomputer may turn the camera off, even with fresh, properly installed
batteries. For the same reason, the film may not advance properly. In each of
these cases, to resume operation, simply turn the power off, then turn it on
again. Or, remove and reinstall the batteries.
