Instrument Station Setup

Press the [STN] key to display the menu
screen.

1:Known

Station setup with known coordinates or azimuth

Press the [1] key to display the screen
shown right. Input the station point
number/name and press the [ENT] key.

If the input point number/name has already been recorded, its coordinates are

displayed and it automatically proceeds to the next step.

If the point is new, the screen waits for the input of coordinate. After

inputting the coordinates and pressing [ENT] on each line, the newly input

point will be stored by [ENT] key on Z field.

Input the Height of Instrument and press
[ENT]. If the coordinate of the station
point is input manually on the previous
screen, CD: can also be input here.

The screen then changes to the menu
display for methods of setting the
backsight azimuth angle.
Select the menu option by pressing the
numeric key.
