Special Effects Mode (Applying Effects When Shooting)

The effect can be applied to pictures during shooting. One of the 10 special effects
is selected to shoot.

To select an effect, press the

d

button to display the special effects menu.

The focus area for autofocus differs depending on the setting of

AF area mode

that can be selected in the

tab after pressing the

d

button.

•

When

AF area mode

is set to

Auto

(default setting), the camera has 9 focus

areas, and automatically selects the focus areas containing the subject closest to
the camera. When the subject is in focus, the focus area (active focus area) lights
in green (maximum of 9 areas).
