1. DESCRIPTION
Thanks to the
extra bell
10-521 from the
Niko Access Control
range, calls at your door never go unheard. The extra bell can be programmed in parallel
with 2 external units or directly to the bell push button. The device is
surface mounted
on the wall. The ring volume can be set during installation, and
there is a
different ring tone
for each type of call (originating from an external unit, an apartment door or from an internal call). The user can deactivate
the ring tone by using the switch on the underside of the device.

2. INSTALLATION
Cabling
The diameter of the wires determines the max. distance that can be covered. In the table below, you see an overview of the maximum distance allowable
(from power supply to internal or external unit) per cable type. The maximum distance can be doubled by taking 2 pairs together.

For small systems with 1 external unit, the installation can be wired with 2 wires (a and b). Use 3 wires (a, b, and P for extra power supply) in all other cases.
