system.

1. OPERATION AND PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Nikobus binary input module (05-206) fully compatible with the existing Nikobus
products.
The binary input module has 6 inputs for external, potential free contacts. These enable
the external contacts to be connected to the bus. Every input has 3 different programming
possibilities: auto mode, fixed on and fixed off. The binary input module is provided with an
LCD display that displays the status of the different inputs. Programming can be carried
out by means of the 3 function keys on the display.

2. INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS

The binary input module is connected to Nikobus via the polarized bus connections ‘B1’
and ‘B2’. The power supply is connected to the connection terminals ’L’ and ‘N’.
Between the input terminals ‘1’ to ‘6’ and the common terminal ‘C’, 6 external, potential
free contacts can be connected (fig. 1 and 2).
