3.7 Installation/Adjustment of Harness
The harness is to decrease tiredness and to prevent person from being injured by dropping the hedge
trimmer accidentally during operation.
Be sure to attach the hedge trimmer to the harness before use.
Note
●
Release the hedge trimmer by following the procedure in “1.3.2 Safety Device (Emergency Release
Device)” in an emergency.
●
Adjust the position with the engine stopped.
Wear the harness so that the waist pad
(hook) [1] should be on your right side.
Adjust the length so that the waist pad
(hook) should be at your waist position.
Attach the hook of harness to the
hanger of hedge trimemr.
Note
●
Set the hedge trimmer so that the trimmer blade
should be on the left side of operator.
Grip the handle to check the balance.
