• The notching tool is unscrewed and is therefore separated from the drive / basic unit.
• After every use the cutting surface has to be checked, cleaned and possible foreign
bodies have to be removed.
• The cutting surface is oiled with appropriate spray oil.
• The ducts are checked and cleaned as well.
• The tools are packed into the provided toolbox and stored in a dry place.
• The maintenance references for the drive / basic unit must be observed and carried out.
The surface metal raceway does have sharp edges in the area of the notch due to the pun-
ching process. This can cause damages to the isolation of cables and the cables themselves
CAUTIoN: Risk of injury, use personal protective equipment!
The sharp edges are to be rounded off and covered with a suitable edge protection.
For this purpose the edge protection RKBA 5 of the Niedax GmbH & Co. KG can be ordered
and used.
