FLM 30
FLM 30 is installed on FIGHTER 1210 or using brack-
ets when connected to FIGHTER 1110. Noise from
the circulation pump or fan can be transferred to the
brackets. Consequently, mount on an outside wall if
possible. If it is not possible to mount FLM 30 on an
outside wall avoid a wall connecting to a bedroom or
living-room.
NOTE! Ensure that that there is sufficient space (15
mm) above the exhaust air module to open the front
cover, see the section “Dimensions”.
Route pipework so it is not fixed to an internal wall that
backs on to a bedroom or living room.
The exhaust air module can contain in-
flammable anti-freeze in the brine circuit
(for example ethanol). Special care
should be exercised during handling, in-
stallation, service, cleaning and scrap-
ping to avoid the risk of leakage.
The exhaust air module should be transported and
stored in the dry.

FLM 30 features integrated frost protection (65) that
automatically defrosts the heat exchanger (62) if nec-
essary. This is achieved by the brine flow through the
heat exchanger being slowed sufficiently so that the
warm room air can thaw the ice.
Normally the temperature of the incoming brine to
FLM 30 is shown on the display on the frost protec-
tion. The frost protection is set at the factory and
should not need adjusting. Changes to the parameters
can result in the heat exchanger becoming blocked by
frost. The buttons are locked with a code.
In the event of a fault indication the frost protection
stops the FLM 30 (however, not the ventilation flow).
