
The exhaust air module’s air filter should be cleaned
regularly (about 4-5 times a year) by taking it out and
shaking off any dirt. If the filter is very dirty, turn it up-
side-down and wash it carefully with water.
■
Open the front cover by pulling it out by the lower
edge, then lifting it up.
■
Set the switch (8) to “0”.
■
Release the filter holder by turning the two black
knobs a quarter of a turn anticlockwise.
■
Pull out the holder, take out the filter (63) and
shake off any dirt. Check that the filter is not dam-
aged. New original filters can be ordered from
NIBE.
■
Assembly takes place in the reverse order.
The interval between cleaning operations varies and
depends on the amount of dust in the exhaust air.

FLM 30 and its ventilation ducting require some regu-
lar maintenance where the following points should be
checked:
The numbers in brackets refer to the section “List of
components”.
Clean the fan once a year by taking it out of the ex-
haust air module and carefully brushing the vanes
clean.

Open the front cover by pulling it out by the lower
edge, then lifting it up.
■
Set the switch (8) to “0”.
■
Dismantle the inner cover by loosening the 6 cover
screws.
■
The fan is removed by disconnecting the fan cable
connector and the two screws as illustrated.
■
Once the inner cover has been removed also
check the drip-pan under the heat exchanger. Also
check the outlet from the drip-pan (98) to ensure it
is not blocked.
■
Assembly takes place in the reverse order.
NOTE!
Avoid distorting the fan blades as
this causes imbalance.
Do not use water or detergents.
