Trouble Shooting Guide
Problem
Possible Causes
Solution
The airfryer doesn’t work
1. The unit has not been
plugged in.
2. You have failed to set
the timer.
1. Insert the power cord into the wall socket.
2. Turn the timer knob to set the desired cooking time
required for cooking to turn the appliance on.
Ingredients cooked by the
airfryer are not cooked
1. There is too much food
in the frying basket or the
food is too big.
2. The temperature has
been set too low.
3. The cooking time is too
short.
1. Place the ingredients into the frying basket in small
batches. In small batches, the food is cooked more
evenly
2. Turn the temperature control knob to set the
temperature required (refer to the “setting” part in the
this manual)
3. Turn the temperature control knob to set the
temperature required (refer to the “setting” part in the
this manual)
Ingredients are not cooked
evenly
Some ingredients require
turning during the cooking
process.
Some ingredients lay on the top or across each other(e.g.
fried chips), they need to be turned during the cooking
process. (refer to the “setting” part in the this manual).
Fried snacks are not crispy
The snacks used were those
that are designed to be
cooked in traditional deep
fryers
It is best to use oven snacks or lightly coat the produce to
obtain a crispier result.
White smoke is coming out
of the product
1. You are cooking
ingredients with a high oil
content.
2. Oil is still present in the
frying-pan from previous
use.
1. When you are cooking ingredients with a high oil
content in the fat-free fryer, a large amount of oil will
release into the frying-pan. The oil will produce white
smoke, and the frying-pan might be hotter than usual.
This will not affect the final result.
2. The White smoke produced is due to excess oil heating
up in the pan. Make sure you clean the frying-pan after
each use.
Fresh chips are not fried
evenly inside the airfryer
1. You have not soaked
the fresh chips correctly
before frying
2. The correct type of potato
was not used
1. Soak the fresh chips in a bowl for a min of 30minutes,
transfer to a plate and dry with paper towel.
2. Use fresh potatoes, to ensure they remain firm
throughout the cooking process.
Fresh chips are not crispy
when cooked in the airfryer
Depending on the water and
oil content of the potato will
effect the crispiness of the
final result
1. Be sure to drain the potato chips thoroughly before
coating them with oil.
2. By cutting the potato chips into smaller size, will provide
a crispier result.
3. Add a little extra oil for a crispier result.
