If the fat-free fryer is being used for the first time and is cold, you will need to add 3 minutes
cooking time.
Home-made chips
We recommend for best results to use pre-made frozen chips. If you would like to make home-
made chips please follow the below instructions:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into small chips.
2. Soak the potato chips in a bowl for a min 20 minutes, transfer out of the bowl and drain
onto paper towel .
3. Place the potato chips into a bowl and pour 1/2tbs olive oil in and mix well until all chips are
evenly coated.
4. Place the potato chips out of the bowl with your hands or tongs into the frying basket.
(this will ensure the excess oil is left in the bowl)
5. Notice: Do not pour all the potato chips into the frying basket at one time, this prevents
excess oil transferring to the bottom of the frying-pan.
6. Fry the potato chips following the instructions in the manual.
