OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Start Operation

1) Place the dehumidifier in an upright position on a flat,
stable and heat-resistant surface. Make sure there is
nothing flammable or heat sensitive within 100cm (39 inches).
Operating the appliance in any other position could cause a hazard.

2) Insert the power plug into a suitable power socket. The dehumidifier
is suitable for operation on an electricity supply having the same
voltage as that shown on its rating label (located at rear of appliance).

3) Make sure the water tank is inserted correctly (after switching on the
machine for the first time the “Bucket Full” light may illuminate, if so
pull out the water tank, check the “float” lever is able to move freely,
then return the water tank to the correct position).

When the water tank is full, the indication lamp will light up and the dehumidifier will stop
operating. Remove the water from the tank, then place the water tank back to its proper
position. The machine will start operating again.

When “Bucket Full” Lamp Is On

DEFROST
When operating in low temperatures (below 20ºC) the surface of the condensing coil may
accumulate frost and affect the efficiency of the dehumidifier. When this happens, the
machine will go into periodic defrost mode automatically. This is quite normal. Defrost lamp
will come on during the defrost period. Defrost time may vary depending on the room
temperature and humidity.
