or liquid sealant.
Notice:
Do not use sealing tape for the screw con-
nections. Do not use longer screw threads for the air supply than in-
tended (e.g. no pipes with external thread). Otherwise, the housing
may become deformed and the piston may jam.
5. Fasten the compressed air supply securely.
6. Mount the silencer/silencers.
The loss of pressure increases with hose length. The nominal diameters in
Ch. Technical data, from page 7 on, apply to hose lengths up to 3 m.
Longer supply lines require larger cross-sections.
If necessary, the escaping air is diverted through a hose, which must be
installed as follows:
1. Remove the silencer.
2. Fasten the exhaust air hose directly to the exhaust air connection.
3. Mount the silencer at the free end of the exhaust hose.
If the NTK is to achieve full performance, then the exhaust hose must have
a larger nominal size than the supply hose.
Notice:
In dusty environment or with oil-free operation the NTK must be
operated with bellows or other suitable dust protection.
How to assemble the optional Netter bellows NFB:
1. Clean (degrease) the contact surfaces on the NTK and on the addi-
tional oscillating weight.
2. Remove the protective foil from an adhesive surface on the bellows.
3. Slide the bellows over the piston and glue the bellows to the body of
the NTK.
4. Hold the piston by the wrench flats with a wrench. Attach the addition-
al oscillating weight to the piston with a screw with a medium-strength
screw locking agent. If no additional oscillating weight is used with
freely oscillating piston, a sheet metal disk with the diameter of the vi-
brator housing must be screwed onto the piston.
5. Remove the protective film from the free adhesive surface of the bel-
lows and press the adhesive surface onto the additional oscillating
weight or the sheet metal disc.
With the easy-to-release Velcro fasteners on the bellows, the wrench flats
on the piston remain accessible.
