Managing Servers with Netscape Console • December 2001

Setting the Refresh Rate for Administration
Express

You can configure Administration Express to automatically refresh its display of
hosts and server instances. This is useful if you want to monitor the status of your
Netscape servers and applications at regular intervals.

To Set the Refresh Rate for Administration Express

1.

In a text editor, open the

serverRoot/admin-serv/config/adm.conf

file.

2.

Add the following line to

adm.conf

:

ExpressRefreshRate: refreshRate

where

refreshRate

is an integer value representing the number of seconds

Administration Express should wait before refreshing its display. For example,
entering

ExpressRefreshRate: 120

instructs Administration Express to

refresh the display every two minutes (120 seconds).

adm.conf
