UPnP Portmap Table
. The UPnP Portmap Table displays the IP address of each UPnP
device that is currently accessing the modem and which ports (internal and external) that
device has opened. The UPnP Portmap Table also displays what type of port is opened
and if that port is still active for each IP address.

To save your settings, cancel your changes, or refresh the table:

Click
Apply
to save the new settings to the modem.

Click
Cancel
to disregard any unsaved changes.
•
Click
Refresh
to update the portmap table and to show the active ports that are
currently opened by UPnP devices.
Change the Device Mode
The modem includes a built-in router. If you want to configure the modem as a “pure bridge”
in Modem mode, first set up the Internet connection and then change the Device Mode
setting to Modem mode.
In Modem mode, the device acts as a “pure bridge” or DSL modem. When the device is in
Modem mode, features that are not available are grayed out.
To change the device mode:

Select
Advanced > Device Mode
. The following screen displays:
By default, the modem is in Router mode.

Select the device mode that you want from the drop-down list.

Click
Apply
so that your changes take effect.
