Port Triggering
Some applications like On-line games, Video conferencing and Internet telephony require multiple connections to the internet. As
such, these applications cannot work with a pure NAT router such as the 4GM3W.
The Port Triggering feature allows some of these applications to work with this router.
Note: If this fails to make the application work, try to set up that computer as the DMZ host instead.
(For further instructions on setting up a DMZ host, please refer to the “Miscellaneous” section below)

Trigger
The outbound port number that will be triggered by the application..
Incoming Ports
When the trigger packet is detected, the inbound packets sent to the specified port numbers will be allowed to pass through
the firewall.
Enable
Select to enable or disable the configured special application entry.
The 4GM3W also provides predefined settings for some popular applications.
To use the predefined settings, select your application from the Popular application pull down list, select an unused ID from the list
and then click Copy to. The predefined settings will then be added to the list.
Click Save to save the settings or Undo to cancel.
