Heavy object. Two people are required to safely handle the server. Always ask for
assistance to install or remove the server.
11.Align the inner rail with the outer rail.
12.Horizontally install the system half way into the slide rail.
13.Press the release tab. Slide the server into the rails till flush with the rack.
14.Install and secure the thumb screw(s) to the system.

3.8.2. Installing a Cable Management Arm
Prerequisite:
Install the system to the rack cabinet. See Section 3.8.1, “Installing the Rack Brackets”.
1. Align the cable management arm with the rear of the chassis.
2. On the left side, install the outer member of the cable management arm into the rail assem-
bly.
3. On the right side, install the inner member of the cable management arm into the rail as-
sembly.
4. On the right side, install the outer member of the cable management arm into the rail as-
sembly.
