3.2. Hard Disk Drive Module

The system supports 2.5” and 3.5” HDD modules. The HDD assembly tray is designed to support

both size of HDDs. Follow the steps in this section to remove and install the HDD modules.

3.2.1. Removing a HDD Module

Prerequisite:

Remove the hard disk assembly. See Section 3.3.1, “Removing a HDD Assembly”.

1. Disconnect the interposer card assembly from the HDD assembly.

2. Remove the screw(s) from the HDD module.

3. Remove the HDD module from the HDD assembly.
