Adjusting Thermostat Setting
Harmony 1 with 3kW boiler & Harmony 3 with 7.5kW
boiler
When appliance is cold, the thermostat should be 0-1mm open on one
side. Using the adjustment screw (B) set the required gap. For course
adjustment gently bend thermostat shaft (A).
Removing Top Baffles
Harmony 1 with 3kW boiler
The top baffles will need removing as ash will build up on the top of
them. This will block the flue ways and also insulate the top of the
baffle plates.
Lift the right hand baffle upwards, lifting the rear more than the front.
Move the baffle towards the stove back to allow the front edge to
clear the supporting ledge and pull forward. The left baffle removes
similarly. To replace the baffles reverse the procedure, ensuring the
front edges of the baffles are pulled to the front of the stove and the
baffles are as close together as possible.
If it is difficult to remove the baffles, shaking them vigorously will
cause the ash which has accumulated to be shaken off the top of
them.
Harmony 1 with 3kW boiler and Harmony 3 with 11kW boiler.
We would recommend that after the first weeks of use the cast iron top plate
is removed and that the accumulation of soots is monitered, then after two
weeks it is inspected again. This will allow you to gauge the frequency that
the boiler will need to be cleaned, see the installation and servicing guide
for boiler cleaning information.
For additional information on internal component
removal see the Installation and Service Instructions.
