9.3.
Alert operation
9.3.1.
X-COP8700 will give the voice announcement for the detected GPS POI and display the
alert on the display at once.
The alert display is composed of the speed limit of the road, the current speed of vehicle,
and the remaining distance to the POI as like the following picture.

9.3.2.
The voice messages and texts for various types of POI are as follows.
Voice & Text for each Camera Types will be displayed for 1 second and then go back to
normal GPS display as above.

By using PC
X-COP 8700 can update the Firmware/voice/database, by using the PC program “X-COP Updater”.
The update method of X-COP 8700 is as follows.
1.1.
Run “X-COP_Updater.exe” file.
1.2.
Connect PC and X-COP 8700 by using USB mini B cable and “X-COP 8700 is connected” will be
displayed on the Status log as like the following picture.
